It wasn't just Cindy Sheehan
A friend of mine just sent me this item from msnbc. According to them, all charges against Cindy Sheehan will be dropped. The wife of a Republican Congressman from Florida was also removed (but not arrested) for wearing a "support the troops" t-shirt.
If this is true (now I'm really confused), someone really dropped the ball. I have plenty of room to be critical of the Administration without blaming them for overly zealous security people. Except I do wonder who gave these people their orders. Why was one arrested; the other just removed? I don't know.
Whatever, someone, somewhere owes both of these women an apology. I know nothing about the woman from Florida, we probably wouldn't agree on a thing, but she didn't deserve that treatment any more than Cindy Sheehan.
Freedom applies to everyone.
