What a pathetic, frightened, puny little tyrant he is
I was wandering around checking in on blogging friends. While visiting my marshmallow throwing and M&M crunching friend, enigma4ever, I found a misanthrope from Massachusetts blog written by jurassicpork He has the unique ability to produce a third middle finger whenever necessary (such as when listening to the State of the Union address). He brings a fresh viewpoint and a lot of information.
Evidently, even the sight of an anti-war t-shirt worn by Cindy Sheehan was too much for the tyrants running the show these days. I think CNN finally has their facts straight - their narrative follows.
I'm writing to Representative Cardoza (my District) tonight and I'll probably write to Representative Lynn Woolsey as well. I think we should flood the White House switchboard. How dare they. I wish Worried American were here. She can say fie and shame much better than I. I thought I was beyond outrage last night when I posted about the female soldiers and their fear of rape. I was wrong. I still have a little outrage left.
There must be a few courageous Representatives and Senators who share my feelings. Cindy Sheehan didn't crash his little party - she was an invited guest. She didn't wave a banner as the first reports indicated - she wore a tshirt. Representative Woolsey should have the right to invite whomever she wishes. I'm sure the Shrub would prefer to eliminate the entire Democrat side of the aisle but since he can't quite do that yet, he arrests one of the few people who has been willing to stand up for her beliefs. The mother of a dead soldier?
I'm leaving now to start my letter writing campaign. I'd be delighted to have any of you join the chorus.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Peace activist Cindy Sheehan was arrested Tuesday in the House gallery after refusing to cover up a T-shirt bearing an anti-war slogan before President Bush's State of the Union address.
"She was asked to cover it up. She did not," said Sgt. Kimberly Schneider, U.S. Capitol Police spokeswoman, adding that Sheehan was arrested for unlawful conduct, a misdemeanor.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of one year in jail, Schneider said.
Schneider said shortly after the State of the Union speech that Sheehan was still being held but should be "out sometime tonight."
An early report from a senior House official indicated that Sheehan was arrested for unfurling an anti-war banner, but that was later found not to be the case. Schneider said she didn't know what Sheehan's T-shirt said.
Sheehan, who became a vocal war opponent after her son was killed in Iraq, was an invited guest of Rep. Lynn Woolsey, D-California, who has called for a withdrawal of troops in Iraq and supports legislation for the creation of a Department of Peace.
Sheehan has pestered the Bush administration since August, when she and hundreds of fellow protesters began demanding an audience with the president and camping outside his ranch in Crawford, Texas.
She also recently penned a book, "Not One More Mother's Child."
Sheehan and other relatives of troops killed in Iraq met with Bush during a visit to Fort Lewis, Washington, in April 2004, shortly after Sheehan's son was killed.
During that meeting with Bush, the president refused to look at pictures of Sheehan's son, didn't want to hear about him and "didn't even know Casey's name," she said.
The Vacaville, California, resident has said she'd like to meet with Bush again to discuss her opposition to the war.
Bush has refused to meet again with Sheehan and has taken issue with her calls for a withdrawal of troops from Iraq.
"She expressed her opinion; I disagree with it," Bush said in August. "I think immediate withdrawal from Iraq would be a mistake."

Bush is such a short-sighted, sorry moronic excuse for a President. Pretty obvious that the Sheehan 'problem' would have gone away much more quickly if he had only sat with her for a few minutes and actually talked about her son. Of course this would show he truly cared about the war dead and maybe that's just asking too much.

It's just my writing style enigma4ever.
Inwardly, I'm seething and in person I'm considerable more profane. Usually when I'm talking back to the t.v. or the computer.
You can't sleep either huh? I've written my letters to my Representative and to the Senators. I posted the letter to our local moveon.org/cvhopefuls group site and asked them to spread the word. If I can figure out how to email Lynn Woolsey, I'll will. Sometimes it's difficult to contact a Representative from outside the District.

I hope I don't get arrested for wearing my "Social Justice Coalition" T-Shirt. Then again, Rebelling against a Tyrant, is the best way to worship God!

Cindy insists on Michael Moore's site that she was not asked to cover the shirt. She stated that if she had been, she would've and I believe her.
I'm not sure if I'd be a good fit in here since Bush has the same effect on me as red light has on epileptics. As a result, I often get furiously obscene and the Irish in me comes out.
But thanks for the link and the quick appraisal.
Have you ever been to a place called Grumpy Old Man? He's about your age, lives in Spain and is me in 25 years. He'll crack you up.
