Mark Foley - former Congressman

I started to leave this alone. It's all over the net; you've all read it and I have nothing new to add. I changed my mind. It's important to make a public statement of my feelings.

It sickens me to even think about this. It sickens me even more that it's not an isolated incidence of a person in a position of power abusing the trust placed in him.

And what sickens me the most? The people who have known about it and done nothing. And would have done nothing if he hadn't been publicly exposed.

As it stands right now, he'll get to keep his pension and any other perks that go with it. That's just wrong. He should be brought up on criminal charges whether or not the House decides to hold its own investigation. Pedophilia is illegal and evil and he's the worst type of pedophile; masquerading as a champion of the victims.

Family values? Not in my book.
