And Speaking of Texas

While I was trying to research the previous post, I came across a writer who said Texas had been successful in not only banning GLBT persons from becoming foster parents but the new law also authorized removing kids from home where they had already been placed.

I found several links of which this Lambda article is one talking about a proposed bill but none later than 2005.

Do any of you know the status of this legislation and/or any appeals?
