Washington) Private Christian colleges would be excepted from local and state non-discrimination laws under a proposed amendment to the Higher Education Act - a move that would allow the schools to legally reject LGBT students.

I have read several articles lately where private Christian (?)
schools ejected students for being lesbian or gay. In one case the school officials badgered a teen until she finally said she "loved" the other girl, even though there had been no proof of the children's sexual choices.

Private lower grade schools can make whatever rules they wish unfortunately. I think that once they take one dime of government funding, they're no longer private.
Evidently the colleges fall under a different rule.

there should be no gov money for anyone who discriminates.
