GRANNY; VIRUSHEAD; AND ABORTION

First, applause to Granny for her active involvement implementing her concerns on the political front. As I have mentioned before, Granny takes actual physical action to put her money where her mouth is, whereas I am merely all mouth. Good show, Granny.

Being a part of the vocal minority is far preferable to being a part of the silent majority. Politicians needs to see and hear the people in order to be able to judge the temper of the people. Silence indicates to them that all is well and they can slide by with the status quo. Make noise, people!!

There are movements afoot to silence dissent. If you are subjected to fear, coercion, shame (accusationsof if you object to the war, you're a treasonous disloyal snake), don't give up the fight. We are in a fight to save our country and our way of life. Soldiers on the war front do not give up because they hear the rattle of arms; neither should we. If a grey haired great-grandmother can be on the streets with her candle and posters and meeting with politicians, so can the rest of America.

I know that most of you hold down jobs, some work two shifts, have family and home , and a full plate of obligations and activities. But how much time does it take to email ? Enter the names and urls of your congressperson and senator in your email address book and send. Don't know the urls? Find them:
http://www.House.gov for senators
http://www.senate.gov for congresspersons
Follow directions to find your rep. Or email all of them. It won't hurt them a bit to hear from people outside their district.

And be like Granny -- Go, Granny! GO!!

Amen! It's the direct action, from the heart, that will carry the day (and that action can happen in a lot of ways).

I think the American spirit is down but will be breathing stronger and stronger and rising again in the next few years.

    Endure...

Thank you for the positive comments, Gary. We must never give up, work hard, and have faith that right will prevail.
