Teen rehab or torture chambers?

I've been reading a little about this from time to time but it's stayed under the radar and hasn't received nearly the attention it deserves.

As far as I remember, we haven't written about it on isamericaburning.

These "camps", run by the religious right, are cash cows. They promise to turn wayward teens into model citizens. If what we read can be believed, many are chanbers of horrors. They have been closed down, only to spring up elsewhere with new names but the same mistreatment of our children. Their owners' purses grow fat; our children are destroyed.

These places need to be razed to the ground and the ground then seeded with salt so they can never grow again.

Here is one excerpt from the article. Congressman Miller could use some help. Please write your representative. I'm writing to Dennis Cardoza today. He has his flaws but he dearly loves children.
