Five hours of frustration has not made Gadfly a jovial person. Appealing to me for help did little good at first. Finally I erased an older draft and we added the last part of her post to the second page. The last time I checked, her post was ok. (Please let it remain so).
So, her post is in two parts, the last bit on a lower page in my name - but it is hers.
I think she needs a beer.
PS: NOW Blogger is posting MY post under Gadfly's name. Sheesh. I'm tired of messing with the blog and you don't even want to know what Gadfly said. My phone wires have melted and my phone is smoking.
COMMENTS:
Thank you, Thomaslb. The Future Was Yesterday advised us not to "feed the trolls" and at first Gadfly complied. She is something of a spitfire at times although she has mellowed a lot in her old age. :-)
It appears that Imscared holds a grudge against us but I'm not decided whether she is a troll or a disgruntled, disagreeable reader. We do accept and publish comments that offer an opposing view to ours. If she (I'm sure its a she) becomes too unpleasant, I will delete her. Offering a different opinion is one thing; acting ugly is something else.

Greetings from the lez*ie b**ch in CA. Or was it sl*t? Or both?
I think it's a she too.
I emailed Thomas and told him my usual reaction to this kind of comment is to let it stand. It speaks for itself nicely.
Having said that, it does get a little old after a while, doesn't it.- Worried American said...
I believe it is the person with the same blog name and similar user name that hacked into our blog and tried to take credit for it, claiming it was me. She didn't appear to have the computer savvy to hack so perhaps a friend did it for her.
Her behavior is puerile.
We do not delete comments presenting opposing viewpoints; civilized debate or considering matters from another angle is good; ugly attitude is not.
Incidentally, HOW DO people get into one's blog? I had a horrible time in 2006 with hackers(?) posting advertisements on several of my other blogs - some were even in foreign language (asiatic script!)as if I was creating the post. Nearly drove me nuts. Filling comment boxes with adverts and silliness is one thing. Posting is another.
Trolls feed off of attention. From past experience, I can tell you the best thing to do is quietly delete their posts.
