Fiddling While Rome America Burns

In popular mythology, the Ostrich is famous for hiding its head in the sand at the first sign of danger.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ostrich) This is a myth but the phrase "hiding one's head in the sand" through popular usage has come to mean avoiding or denying reality, refusing to see the truth of a situation..


Unfortunately, this is all too true of too many of our fellow Americans.

OR

They parrot a saying from yesteryear, "Let George Do It".

Meaning, pass the buck, let someone else, anybody else do it but "not me".

Well, Friends, Romans, Americans and Countrymen, George HAS done it and CONTINUES TO DO IT with a little help from his friends.
But NOT what the citizens want or have in mind.

How has this happened? How did we allow it to go so far?

This is what the rest of the world thought of us for re-electing George W. Bush for a second term. Foreign media may not have been aware that the election was rigged and stolen, BUT we did nothing about it when the truth was made public, so we still bear the blame and the shame.

It has happened and may be irreversible, but We The People have to TRY OUR BEST to regain our country, our freedoms and our rights, and the ONLY way we can do it is to rise in unison to get Bush and Cheney IMPEACHED. We cannot be ostriches, we cannot sit back and whine "let George do it", we cannot be sheeple. We have to DO IT OURSELVES! United we stand, divided we fall.

I realize that this is repetitious but I cannot stress too strongly the dangerous position our country, the world and we are in. When czarist Russia fell to the communists, it took 50 years for the people to oust the Communist regime (after a fashion). When Hitler established a Fascist, despotic dictatorship, he was not overthrown until the U.S. joined the Allies to add more forces to the war. Now there is no one to come to our aid if Bush and Cheney complete their plans. It is up to us to save ourselves.
Arise, Americans! America is burning

Thank you, Friends. Please spread the word, email, phone call, write, beat the drums, blow the bugles, sound the alarm. And remember, foreign friends, if this idiotic regime send us down in flames, so goes the rest of the world in one way or another. They have their tentacles/claws deep into virtual every nation AND the nuclear holocaust they are so anxious to execute will certainly affect the entire globe.
