Worried Takes a Day Off

I am not organized today. I am not going to post on news or issues. Instead I will refer you to other blogs and excellent posts.

I suggest that readers who are interested in current issues and want a well written post to peruse, go to http://gdaeman.blogspot.com . I backtracked Gdaeman for a number of posts and found that he not only had written on subjects I had in mind, but had written on them so much better than I could. I not only suggest that you check out some of his posts, but I urge you to.

http://musingsofaworkingmom.blogspot.com has a good post 02/22, "Maybe We Deserve It". Maybe we do, if we do not rise up and raise every kind of hell we can with our reps to block Bush's new budget. He wants to make the changes permanent. He is determined to shove through as many of the Neocon plots as he can during his short time left. He is utterly shameless in guaranteeing that the rich get richer and to hell with the poor.

I also recommend The Future Was Yesterday's post of today, Saturday 02/24, "Phases and Stages"
http://thefuturewasyesterday.blogspot.com . If 20% of the population accomplished what they did - and we know they did - then none of us have an excuse for allowing our nation to go down the tubes.

As the teen aged owner of "Peace Takes Courage" says - peace takes courage, and so does defending our country as did our forefathers. It just takes guts. Guts to stand up for what is right. Guts to take action. Guts to exercise our right to "peaceful assembly", as does Granny and her candle light group, as does Spadoman with his Tuesday peace marches (http://jspado1.blogspot.com ). Guts to join activist organizations that work for the betterment and support of our troops and veterans, as does Marty. Guts to relentlessly email our representatives about current issues, to sign petitions, to be unafraid to stand up and be counted.

http://martyonthehomefront.blogspot.com has a number of very good articles to read if you're feeling gutsy. Wimps may as well opt out. Marty is not radical; she is firm. She puts her money where her mouth is.

The Future Was Yesterday and others who were interested in Daniel's avatar (http://seeking-utopia.blogspot.com ): Daniel directed us to Google images - don quixote search, pg. 2, artist Octavio Ocampo. More information and other Don Quixote paintings by Ocampo as well as Ocampo's biography may be found at http://unbearable-stench.blogspot.com , blog titled "Closet" ( blog url has nothing to do with blog content - long story). Anyway, art lovers click over to view these extraordinary works.
