Toy Soldiers for Veterans Day

Just a reminder: The Kommados Project is on for Veterans Day. http://kommandos.blogspot.com Some of us continue the project on a regular basis. Others do not have the time but I would suggest that all who can participate in the Veterans project for the next week, not just today.

They that will not grow old”, who died for one’s country for another’s war, far away.

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
    We will remember them."

The Ode", as it is known, the fourth verse from the 7 verse poem
"For the Fallen", by English poet Laurence Binyon is the most quoted prose in Australia. I never grow tired of these words, they seem fitting for the fallen: of all Wars, usually young men.

    Best wishes

Thank you, JuBlu. I try to do my part and on behalf of others who have too much on their plate to be an activist. I nominate some units for others -including you and the Jedi.

Thank you, Kommander Kvatch. I appreciate the kommendation and will pass it on to the troops.

Lindsey Lobe. That poem always sets me to boo-hooing. It is a GREAT poem. Incidentaly, I was unable to access your blog by clicking on your name.
