Why Mommy is a Democrat. - X Rated - Not for Children

Tucker Carlson evidently thinks it's wrong to teach our kids about politics. He thinks "Mommy is a Democrat" is "creepy" and that children shouldn't be exposed to politics at their tender ages.

I suppose he thinks we ought to do away with civics class. My oldest great-granddaughter and I memorized the Preamble to the Constitution together the other evening for her class. She was letter perfect the next day. I probably shouldn't have done that. Worst of all, I've taken them along to peace vigils, moveon.org, and PFLAG (loosely political - we're activists among other things) meetings. Oh, and a couple of City Council and Board of Supervisors meetings as well. Someone call Child Protective Services - quickly.

Until I began voting permanent absentee a few years ago, they went with us to the polls and got their own I Voted stickers.

Shame on me.

On the other hand, remember "Mommy, There's a Democrat Under My Bed"? Tucker thought it was cleverly written and hoped it sold.

Can you spell hypocrite? How about two faced?
