Update On The "Enzi" Bill
Republicans are noting with some alarm that prospects appear bleak for the passage of the bill.
You may recall my post a few days ago about this attempt to eliminate needed services now allowed by individual states.
I can understand the attraction of small companies banding together to provide health insurance to their employees but not at the expense of more progressive states. We know insurers will do no more than they're forced to by law and for them it makes economic sense to choose the least restrictive laws and force the other states into compliance.
For insurances, it's all about the bottom line.

It is just business and the bottom line for them. Actually they care nothing whatsoever for the health and welfare of the people. They are marketing a product as if it was tee shirts.
