New Commenter

Hi to sheanc , a first time commenter with an interesting blog. We've seen each other's comments on other blogs.
UPDATE 6:37 PM PDT. SEANC JUST REPUBLISHED HIS ENTIRE BLOG WHICH FIXED WHATEVER IT WAS. I JUST TRIED IT AND IT'S FINE. ONE OF LIFE'S LITTLE MYSTERIES!!

ANN
===============

One of his posts recommends watchblog.com which shows three points of view - Democrat, 3rd Party/Independent, and Republican in 3 columns. Interesting.

Never hurts to see what the other guys are doing.

IF ANY OF YOU HAVE TRIED TO CONTACT THIS BLOGGER BY USING THE LINK, IT WORKED LAST NIGHT. NOW IT SPEWS FORTH AN ENTIRE PAGE OF CODE. I HAVE EMAILED THE BLOGGER FOR HELP.

IT DOESN'T WORK ON BLOGLINES EITHER. I'LL TRY THE URL TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

SORRY.

It worked last night - it doesn't now. Conspiracy? Let me see what I can do.

Either everyone's computers have all gone insane simultaneously, or our various servers have, or the internet is screwed up. I can access a site just fine, then get "page cannot be displayed" or similar messages. Plus other problems too numerous to tell here.

Granny and i were emailing about the same thing. Some of us use different servers, so it must not be the servers, unless they are all in cahoots. My sister is having problems and she uses AOL. I use SBC Yahoo. I don't know who Granny uses.

The page full of code looks like his template which means somehow we're not getting the version we're supposed to see.

    Very strange.

I use sbc yahoo. I only see a green screen when I try to link to the site.

I use SBC Yahoo for ISP and Internet Explorer for browser. I don't know Granny's ISP but she has Firefox and IE, can toggle back and forth as needed.

Blogger has given me a hard time on uploading pictures, and repeatedly blocks me by giving me the enraging message that my cookie functionality is disabled and advising me to set cookies and java script, although they have been set since I started blogging.

I have a number of personal blogs as well as the three public blogs.
Blogger "cookied" all of them just fine until the past two weeks. In desperation I reset cookies and java script (right back to the identical setting, as displayed on their instruction page) on every blog. That stopped the worst of the cookie disabled mess but it still pops up now and then. Sometimes when I email articles to my archives blog, they are never posted; don't know if that is blogger error or Yahoo email failure, but I do not receive a notice from yahoo that email was not delivered.

All sorts of wierd stuff going on. I access a lot of sites with rather sensitive issues covered or expose articles and of late i can't get them - just that annoying "page cannot be displayed". Occasionally if I persevere I can eventually connect with the site but more often they remain inaccessible.

Everyone's computers cannot have gone insane at once.

Blogger pulled up his listing on Blog Search and says lastest entry 19 hours ago, but attempts to access reveal only a blank pea green screen.

    ??????

Granny uses Mozilla Firefox - latest update whatever that is.

Wow, that was one weird glitch! I have heard of blogger problems before, but that was bizarre. In any event, things seem to be back to "normal" now, so anyone who was not able to access the site before should be able to get there now. Sorry about the scrambled screen -- I blame Dick Cheney!

Mucho thanks to Granny for the link up! I am honored 8^)

Might as well blame Cheney. He's help mes up the US and half the rest of the world. Why not our blogs.
