Kvatch posted a comment here recently about the Kommandos as well on his blog. The movement is gaining momentum across the nation. The Philadelphia Inquirer has picked up on it - see link on the Kommando site, access and scroll down to the article about the little green soldiers, the Kommandos.

It is easy to join the protest/support our troops. Get a bag of the little toy green soldiers from your local dollar store, tape slips of papers to them stating "bring us home" or anything else you want to say, set them up in places and photograph them. Post photos on your blog. Or join the Kommandos and post your photos on the Kommando blog too. To join, contact Kvatch at the blogs above or at his email.

This is one easy way for people to protest the war/ support the troops even if they can't hit the streets or join marches.
