Senator, You're No Jack Kennedy

Lloyd Bentsen died today. USA today describes him as a "moderate to conservative" Democrat which seems like a fair assessment. In balance, I believe he did more good than harm which is far more than we can say about many politicians.

I'll never forget the Bentsen-Quayle debate and I bet that quote will be remembered, quoted, and requoted.
