Negroponte and Iran

This is the lead paragraph of an article in Consortium about Negroponte and his shift away from Bush and the neocons. Encouraging, if true. His head will no doubt be on a platter any day now.

Click on the title for the rest of the story.

In a replay of the Iraqi weapons of mass destruction charade, neoconservative supporters of George W. Bush are pushing the U.S. intelligence community to take a more alarmist view about Iran’s nuclear program – only this time, the nation’s top spy John Negroponte is resisting the pressure unlike former CIA chief George Tenet.

Anyone who doesn't rubber stamp Bush's policies and lies will be villified and if possible, ousted and ruined.

Bush and followers would like to see any dissenters labeled a traitor and prosecuted accordingly.

Be afraid, friends, Be very afraid. On many counts. And work very hard to get a "regime change" in Congress. We must try to energize our foot dragging Democrats, and try to elect some who aren't on the Bush Bandwagon or intimidated by the Masters.

Regime change to a more cooperative Irani leadership and the resultant control of their oil is an essential part of the global goals. Bush is under pressure to bring this about, regardless of the consequences (blowback).

May we expect another 9/11 type of attack to bring the dissenters to heel? A tyrannical government NEEDS enemies and fear to solidify their control over the people.

We are at a cusp, and hopefully not past the tipping point to regain our America.
