DISABLED VETERANS -BLIND, AMPUTEES, BRAIN DAMAGED - HOUNDED TO PAY "DEBTS" TO GOVERNMENT

Several months ago we posted a report about a soldier, wounded on the battlefield and his armor removed by the medics, was later billed for the missing armor. Now it appears that case was scarcely the tip of the iceberg.
Click on to this forwarded email and see if you are as outraged as I am. I am furious. First, the wounded men being dunned by the government for debts the government caused (by messing up their pay records) or for losing equipment on the battlefield. "Oh sorry, boy, that you got your legs blown off, lost an eye and got shrapnel in your brain, but you were careless and irresponsible by failing to keep track of your weapon and body armor while you lay there practically dying and unconscious . So now you've got to pony up and pay the USofA for it." I cannot believe the level of incompetence in the military. And in every department of this government.
