Don't ask - don't tell
From the Advocate today
The fundies have a lot to answer for. Now their bigotry is working against the military. I want us out of Iraq. That doesn't mean that I want any soldier suffering from lack of medical care.
Much of the don't ask, don't tell policy affects medical personnel who have been discharged from the Armed Forces under this idiotic policy (yes I know it was President Clinton - he was wrong). He must have thought it was better than nothing. Why not just issue an executive order and be done with it. Oh well, we're stuck with it for now and the Advocate article points out the damage being done.
