AND FURTHERMORE....

Don't you dare, don't you DARE to accuse me of disrespecting our military men who fight and die in alien lands because I criticize this war.You fall for the rhetoric of the spin doctors and the catch phrases of President Bush designed to push the buttons of the gullible.

I disapprove of this war but I stand by and stand up for every military man in service as fiercely as I stand up for my country. Fie on you again.

Worried, I posted something today you will be interested in. I, along with you, support our troops but deplore the mess we've gotten them into. We owe them more than this. Bush isn't our dictator, and we AMERICANS owe him and his minions nothing.

My husband is a veteran of the first Gulf War, an ex-Marine, who would fight for very few things, having learned as a younger man what's worth fighting for and what is not, and he would fight for our right to say what we believe.

And you are fighting the good fight, Worried. Every day you write on this blog. I will defend that right. Go you!

Julian, it's good to know a little more about you. I have a son who, until very recently, was on the list for Iraq.

Now it looks like he may not have to go.

    He's 37 and he's done enough.

I very reluctantly supported Kuwait and Afghanistan. I always opposed Iraq. We invaded a sovereign nation for no real reason. Yes, Saddam was a horror, but there are dictators the world over far worse who we leave alone because we benefit financially.

I'll drop over later and take a look at your post.

Me, too, Blue. And thank you for your support.

May God help us if the day comes when free Americans are persecuted or prosecuted for exercising their right of free speech. Persecuted--?that time has come already to a great extent. Name calling, accusations and mudslinging seems to be the name of the game when one offers a different opinion.
