Who Is Buying Our Congress Now?
I hesitate to add another post to the already packed list of posts for this weekend, but this article is pertinent to the upcoming election. Massive campaign donations and other perks given to candidates buy their loyalty and special considerations after elections. Our representatives cater to the special interests of the corporations, not to the needs of the nation and the constituents - who they are SUPPOSED to represent. WA

In these heady days before a close election, you’d have to be made of granite not to get caught up in the news of the political horse race. Which candidates are up or down and by how many points? Who has the most cash on-hand? Which party is going to win? What often gets lost in the coverage before the big day, however, is where all the money funding these races is coming from, what the special interests that give it will want in return after Election Day—and how that hurts ordinary families.

Imo, anybody that thinks those clowns represent us in any manner other than lip service, should see Betmo for an updated list of bridge prices.
And WA? Re your previous wonderful series: Maybe if you adjust the "post and comments" (or something like that), at the very bottom left of the create or edit screen, it'd help your alignment. You can set the time, date, etc. of all posts you make with that. Hope it helps.
