Hello all,
This is Tim, Granny's youngest son penning a brief post to let everyone know that she will be offline for at least a day and a half until her modem is fixed. As you can guess she is pulling her hair out waiting for it to be fixed...She will be on as quickly as possible.

Hello Tim, we've heard much about you and glad to get a note from you.
I understand about the modems. Well, I don't understand but I know the aggravation. My poor old Compaq and the modem for some reason apparently had a spat and quit talking to each other. There was weeping and wailing and raging here until Tech Support told me to turn off Compaq, turn off modem. Then after a brief cooling off period, turn on modem FIRST, then turn on Compaq. Lo, they were friends again and communicated nicely. My hair was spared.
Hope Granny's repair will be as simple and save her lovely white hair. Cheers, Granny. This too shall pass.
