UN Deadlocked on AIDS - Blame the American Taliban
We continue to tie our support for AIDS prevention to "abstinence only". According to this from Common Dreams, even Great Britain is opposed to our position. Still, our leaders refuse to listen to any voice but that of the extremists.
The only countries who support us are the theocracies. Of course they're not actually supporting us, just taking the same position.

It is difficult to have any understanding of the obsession with sex that so many religions have, especially Christianity and Islam. Is it a part of total and complete control of women, as in their obsession with birth control?
Amidst all the preaching and rhetoric, it is interesting to see how little is said about MALE sexual behavior, excepting that of homosexual practises, ofcourse.
