Re: Tuesday's post and readers' comments "What the Heck is Happening to the Internet"

The problems some of us were having with blogs, ISPs or email servers, and the internet at that time may have seemed like a tempest in a teapot to some but it was a real hassle for those who suffered the aggravations. We had good input from our fellow bloggers on comments and via email, and I found out there are bugabears out there in the cyberworld I didn't even know existed.

Being a complete computer know-nothing but trying to learn, I subscribe to several newsies that deal with the subject. I checked out a recent Aussie publication and clicked on articles pertinent to bad guys messing with internet users.

I can understand the venality of those who do it for profit, but cannot fathom the minds of those who do it from meanness and a sense of power. Screwballs. Criminals.

The following 5 postings are about these nut cases that threaten our peaceful usage of the internet and the safety of our computers.
