Geez. I was thinking, as I read about the dissenter, about how women in the 1800's were put into asylums for rejecting their husbands' religions or just not behaving quite ladylike enough. We've come a long way, baby!

Thanks for the link-up, Granny. And kudos to Watch N' Wait for finding the story. When right-wing pundit Michael Savage claimed that "liberalism is a mental disorder", I didn't think anyone (except the right-wing wackos) would take him seriously.
