Tough Questions in North Carolina
So the Prez finally climbed out of his bubble and he may decide to climb right back in.
A brave real estate broker from Charlotte stood up during the speech and made a speech that all of us have making right along.
Dubya usually preaches only to his choir. I don't know how this man managed to be included. Maybe they thought "real estate broker" was a safe bet.

Personal note: Ray home from hospital today. Our respite from the rain didn't last long. It started up this evening, tomorrow may be clear, and then three more days of rain (according to the meteoroligists). Meantime, our local officials are trying to get the Governator off his butt and declare a disaster area for the county and people are still camping out at the high school.
The levee broke. Where have I heard that before? This was a very small levee as levees go. Much of California has the same problem (especially around Sacramento), and not much is being done.
Well, this started out as a personal note and ended up as a rant. Sometimes I can't help myself.

It has been a wet one. Hope things work out for you up there. I didn't know you were in the Sacramento area.
