Sometimes I Almost Feel Sorry for Scott McClellan
He was trying desparately to defend actions that for once he couldn't deny. For some time now he's had a trapped look on his face.
Bush didn't leak information, he declassified it for the public good, says McClellan. He didn't do anything illegal. Illegal these days seems to be what this Administration says it is (over and over).
Possibly so. There has always been a gap between illegal and ethical (or moral, if you will). In the past six years, the gap has widened to the size of the Grand Canyon.
