THANK YOU - EVERY ONE
It is 7:45 A.M. and the Thundering Horde has been up with considerable noise and activity for what seems like hours. To me, it's the middle of the night and God isn't even awake yet. To an owl trapped in the midst of a flock of larks, it's like, "Uncircle the wagons and drive on! Let the Indians scalp me, just so I can sleep awhile longer."
As my father used to say, "the status remains quo", all about the same. Jo & Co. heading back to Big H , and some others returning to respective homes. Tomorrow is a work day and they don't know when they may have to take time off, so it's back to their daily grind. Little Sister is on Compassionate Leave. Big Sister has her own business so is boss and can take leave when she so desires. I have no obligations except to Cat and Fish and they are taken care of.
I deeply appreciate all the well wishes, good thoughts, comments and emails sent my way. You all are so kind. During time of trouble you find out who your friends really are. Dimitri, at CafeDa in Amsterdam had an excellent post Jan. 31st, titled "Bless This Hunk of Steel." About friends in his computer and is so apt. As he said in his poem, we haven't shaken hands nor given a hug (physically) but through the computer and 'net, we've reached out and touched. Hugs may not be literal but I give you figurative hugs and heartfelt thanks.
I'm not ignoring your emails or comments. I will respond as soon as I can. I don't forget you lovely people.
