OUR TEAM MEMBERS
As you all know, bloggers can add team members who can post equally to the blog. JulianBlue has Mr. Pink and Elizabeth Green as team members.
Some time back Granny added AndreaInJapan to our blog. Andrea has been a tremendous help in taking care of formatting and other problems with this blog. Isn't the internet wonderful? A person in Japan can tweak a blog of a lady in California and a lady in Texas. Great! We appreciate Andrea very, very much. Granny in particular can sing Andrea's praises for all the work she's done to assist Granny.
I have added a new team member to this blog. I'd like to introduce GadflyRefuter who has been a friend of mine for several years. Since I do not get out much any more, we correspond primarily by phone, email, and IMs. We have many things in common and some differences, and we each respect the other's views even when we disagree. I have what I call my Italian temperament when I can get on my soap box and rant and rave; Gadfly has a much more volatile temper and gets a tad flamboyant at times and occasionally somewhat profane.
Gadfly became interested in blogs when I introduced her to some of mine, and she is one of our lurkers that I scold from time to time, trying to get them to comment. She has lurked on all of your blogs too, and often remarks to me about something you posted but would not comment on your blog. She knows all of you, agrees with some points, disagrees with others, and always enjoys your personal stories. I think she regards Granny's Rocrebelgranny blog as an online, reality show-soap opera. She loves the ongoing saga about the little girls and family life. She likes Granny.
A few times I have allowed Gadfly to post something under my byline to this blog, always with my permission and subject to my review. Usually an emailed article; after I discovered the emailed articles often contained more advertisements than article links, I began editing the postings to remove extra material and sometimes adding a comment of my own. A couple of times she has posted directly to the blog under my byline; a few times I've deleted it, a few times let it stand. No one commented to the contrary so I assumed no one noted the difference, but I'll bet Granny did. She is quite astute at catching differences in writing styles, phraseology, etc.. even though Gadfly tried to emulate me to a certain extent.
I appreciated Gadfly's desire to make her voice heard and have been urging her to create her own blog. She has finally done so. I have made her a team member here and she may post under her own name IF she observes the rules of civility. (You know I'll delete you if you don't!). But she has also created her own blog: http://aint-gonna-take-it.blogspot.com It should be interesting once she gets the ball rolling. She isn't quite as salty as GOM but she does tend to pepper her remarks with expletives at times. She does have interesting and occasionally controversial viewpoints. May make for good debates.
So Gadfly joins Worried and Granny and Andrea.

And a welcome addition she will be.
Yes, I'd noticed changes in style, WA, but I've seen you do that before so I didn't think about it too much.
Remember was back when I thought you were two people and introduced you to you?

Just read Gadfly's first post. Wonder which blog friends of yours she was thinking were "raunchy"?

Welcome, Gadfly. It will be interesting to see what you have to say. Julian, you know we are the raunchy ones, what with my Arse of the Week column and our vice of profanity. Hey, a girl's got to have a vice, right? I don't like cigarettes, alcohol impairs my ability to function at work, eating too much causes all kinds of health problems, and drugs will get me fired, so profanity is all that's left--welll, profanity & Starbuck's, but the profanity is cheaper.
