Bush has effectively prevented impeachment by securing the Republican Congress and the Supreme Court. His co-conspirators have out-maneuvered the American public (God knows he wasn't smart enough to figure out all the slick-willy deals he has pulled.

More like Emperor - that seems to be the post he's aiming for. After he has completed establishing his power base, will he manufacture some national emergency to postpone the 2008 elections and work it around so he may remain in power? The presidents of some other nations have managed to make themselves "president for life". Is that his aim? Or maybe brother Jeb will step into his shoes, courtesy of cleverly programmed computerized ballot boxes.
I fear so greatly for my country and the future of the new generations.
