During this troubled time when we are beset with governmental corruption, administrative dishonesty, illegal actions and lies, wars and losses of American's children and maiming of thousands more, bankruptcy of the nation, job losses and economic disasters, breakdown of our national health systems and aid to our most vulnerable, aftermaths of natural disasters and the encroachment of a rabid religious system upon our governmental bodies and "golden rule" of megacorporations, there is still much to be thankful for.

Of those many rays of sunshine peeking through the clouds of doom, one bright and shining ray is the loving bonds of family and friends. And as Dimitri says, even though we've never shaken hands nor hugged nor even spoken in person, our online friends have become very dear to us. We care for you and appreciate you.
