Many of us have know this for years. If we had listened to the people who know what they're talking about, we wouldn't be having this conversation; with or without Florida in 2004 and Ohio in 2008.
We need a message. A simple message. A message that will strike a chord with the people who don't vote.
We need to stop apologizing and we need to stand by our values, not borrow the other side's in a vain attempt to appease the far right and the religious fanatics who are unappeasable and have no interest in common ground.
