Senate Judiciary Committee - membership
I'm doing this piecemeal - sorry.
Here are the members of the Senate Judiciary Committee. During the Roberts confirmation process, I had them memorized but some time has passed.
Brownback and Coburn are hopeless. Lindsay Graham has defied the President once this year (on torture) and might be approachable. Orrin Hatch is usually straight party line but he's a patriotic American(even when we disagree which is much of the time) who might cross the line if he could be convinced this nomination is a disaster. I'll have to check the others out. Probably you know more than I.
Hearings begin Monday. Tick-tock.

Here we go....one of the most critical events of the year is here. We need 2-3 defections from the Repuks...stop him in the commitee....45 Democrats in the Senate we need only 41 to filibuster.....Hope the Dems show some guts......I have writen to my two senators, lets see what happens.......
