Another slant to the mining tragedy
I was about to post something on the DeLay mess - maybe later.
I like the Chicago Sun-Times for the most part. You already know about Quick Takes. Here is a commentary by columnist Margaret Mitchell.
"worried" wrote about the difference between the Democratic governor of West Virginia and the man who sits in the oval office.
Ms. Mitchell writes about the way news is presented. There is a great divide between rich and poor which probably extends along racial lines as well. The poor are treated differently by the media. I'm sure we all knew that but maybe it needs to be reinforced from time to time.
