Global Warming
A local politically active friend sent me these two articles today, both from The Independent, with this comment:
"My Grandson said Bush won't believe in global warming till Air Force One, with him on it, crashes in a blizzard in the desert."
One is about the breakup of the huge glacier in the Canadian Arctic. The other is a warning, from a scientific viewpoint, about global warning.
My friend wonders, as so I, if anyone is listening. The time may already passed to turn it around.
