I'm very sad they executed him. They should have let him sit in a prison on a life sentence. From here in Istanbul, hanging him seems so hypocritical. Turkey was forced by the EU to put an end to its death penalty before it could begin serious talks to *begin the process* of joingn the EU-- Addullah Ocalan, the leader of the Kurdish Marxists Separatists movement that is responsisble for the deaths of more than 30,000 civilians since 1985 is now sitting on an island in the middle of the Marmara Sea after a lengthy trial that was held up to close scrutiny by the EU states. No that the US and the European countries are "supposedly" setting up a government in Iraq, they are allowing a separate set of rules for how states behave.
