WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court appears poised to make it far harder to prosecute cases of domestic violence when victims are unwilling or unable to testify in court.

We thought that dork would chip away at women's issues. Now battered women and abused children may have to confront their abusers in court, face to face. It is hard enough on women to have to see the man who abused them, but it is very difficult for children to have to face an abuser.
