Television is the main brainwashing mechanism of the Corporate media. When not spreading disinformation,it offers us distractions that tell us all is well if we just behave like good consumers, watch sports finals, and obsess on celebrity culture. People who won't vote are people who won't give up their television sets, as the voting process takes them away from their main addiction, television watching.
