Clinton v Bush on Terrorism
Grandpa Eddie has a good post today with a comparison of the efforts made by the Clinton and present administrations to fight terrorism.
I couldn't help but notice that many of Clinton's proposals were defeated by the Republicans and the ones that survived were either eliminated or rendered ineffective by Bush and Co.

The Bush administration refuses to even look at the root causes of terrorism, falling back on the ol' "they hate us because we're free," bit. The truth is, our war on terror is creating more terrorists than it is defeating them. just another unwinnable Republican war, like the war on drugs, that the right wing is using as a war on our rights.

Bushco realy doesn't give a fig about terrorism, root cause, muslims, none of that. All the neocons care about is control of energy (oil), maintaining the dollar, dominating the middle east and globalism. Terrorism is just an excuse. Demonizing Muslims in general is merely a propaganda tool to try to maintain citizen support for their actions. Just as in the Cold War the Russians were demonized; in Korea and Vietnam the Chinese commies were demonized; in WWII the Germans and Japanese were demonized.
