Democracy and Conquest

This video was made as a campaign ad when Ron Paul was running for president. But the bits about our founding fathers are right one! Bush claimed we invaded Iraq to spread democracy and to protect our freedoms. Bull crap! Democracy isn't spread by bombs and tanks and civilian slaughter. The Iraqi War was a war of conquest, pure and simple, to get control of their oil. The US can claim it wasn't conquest but the installation of the Iraqi government is a puppet government, basically run by US and allies.
