Worried Returns (After a Fashion)

After repeated wars with my aging Compaq, mouse and keyboard problems, my grand-daughter-in-law took pity on me and installed my new computer. (Son Terry is back from New York but kept busy working overtime by a boss that missed him too much, so he hadn't made it over to install the machine). Having grown accustomed to the horse-and-buggy Compaq, this new racing machine is a mystery to me. I am having difficulty fathoming its mysterious intricacies so will not be too active online for a while longer. It is hissy fit and frustrated aaaggghhh time in the Worried household. Sheba the cat has abandoned her usual nap spot and retreated to the far corner of the apartment. You folks really don't want me back on the blog at present.

Granny has been doing such a great job of maintaining the blog alone that I don't think my input will be missed too much. Thanks, Granny!

But I shall return.

Well it's about time you got something done. Glad you're back.

You're right about the Repubs tactics and the Dems cave-ins.

And before you ask, yeah I had a helluva good time but it's good to sleep in my own bed. No wise cracks about other people's beds either. My lips are sealed. At least until we get together over coffee. Snicker!

WA: Hi FWY and Daniel! It is great to be back online. I've missed you all. Thanks for the good comments. I'm glad my friend Gadfly is back too. She's been running the states, terrorizing the natives for much of the summer. I'm not sure that some of our neighboring states will ever be the same again. :-) That gal is something else!!

Future Was Yesterday: "Hot bunking"? Dunno if that's the right word for it but ...tee hee. At my age? Honey, after a certain age you go for QUALITY, not QUANTITY. There is much to be said for years of experience. Haven't you heard that old song "Older Women Make Beautiful Lovers"? Well I am here to tell you that goes for older men, too. Quality beats quantity any day. YeeHaw!!
