For Goodness Sakes!!

Will everyone north of Houston, Texas please take care during this frigid weather. The weather map on TV looks cold cold cold! You poor dears north of the Mason-Dixon!! Especially our Canadian cousins.

Worried will NOT go out today. I do not do cold if I can avoid it.

Take care. Be well. Be safe.

I've been complaining bitterly for days and we're only at around 20° with no snow - yet.

I have blogging friends in OK who have been suffering.

It's not too bad here in the Interior of British Columbia, today. Light, fluffy snow, but enough to make the roads slick. Last week was a bear, though. My sympathy goes out to those who aren't used to this stuff, and I agree with you, avoid going out if you can.

    Stay warm,
    Peace,
    Fiona

Not a bad year here. We finally got real winter weather on the 12th of January. Looks like the rest of the country did too!

    Be careful out there!

    Hello Ladies,

Just wanted to thank you for dropping by my blog. I also would like to apologize for some of the language on same said blog (married to a trucker for 17 years, who also server in the forces, and some old acquired habits die hard - that's my excuse, anyway!).

Worried: I love the "classics", van Gogh, Picasso (Guernica) in particular. I must say, though, some of the contemporary computer graphic artists can truly touch your soul. My current favourite is Ben Heine, though he likes to call himself a "cartoonist".

You ladies take care, and I'll be back to visit often. I will do the best I can to support you in your efforts, and try to rally many more on this side of the "40th", to do the same.

    Peace,
    Fiona

P.S. I actually live in British Columbia.

Hello everyone who has commented or checked in on email. We are glad that you are making it ok through this terrible weather.

Fiona, don't sweat the language bit on your blog. Granny and I have heard or read worse and did not fall out in a faint. Just keep on blogging.

If you catch granny on a bad day, she has probably used worse.

Heh! Heh! Likewise, Granny, even though it is not my wont to use such language (as your is not) each of us has blew it at times and shocked the ears of our audience, or ourselves.

The Wild Child and "foster son" J.C. had some of the most colorful language I ever heard in my life, including the illicit-drug abusers with whom I did volunteer work during the hippie days. Some language was graphic in the extreme and left no doubt as to its meaning, but some was so foreign to my ears and understanding I had to ask what that meant - usually just got a laugh in reply but no definitions.
