Re: Granny's post of 12/04/06 "Personal Note"
Granny Ann and I are partners on this blog. Most of our readers also visit her personal blog, http://rocrebelgranny.blogspot.com so are aware of the details of her private life. For any who may not, Granny is a great grandmother who is rearing, educating and attending the many needs of 3 of her great grand daughters. Her husband is in ill health and is frequently hospitalized, and her daughter has been being treated for intestinal cancer; Granny often takes Carol for her cancer treatments. In addition, Granny mantains the heavy duties of maintaining the household - cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, etc.. - common to a housewife/mother. As if this wasn't a back breaking load for a lady of her years, she keeps up two primary blogs, is a contributing member of several other blogs, and continues her activist endeavors.
Granny is to be commended for her heroic efforts and her dedication to family and society. Now she is faced with another frightening and troublesome crisis. Her daughter has problems relating to the cancer (see her blog for details).
We ask that all her friends and visitors think positive thoughts for her and her family, or offer prayers if that is your wont. All those who have come to know her, admire , respect and love her are no doubt deeply concerned.
I can relate to Granny's situation, as in the past I experienced some of her burdens (beloved burdens but nevertheless heavy loads on a senior citizen), and recently my eldest daughter had a colon resection for colon cancer and is now recuperating at home with home-care nurses and providers. She will soon begin a regime of therapy that promises to be difficult.
Granny has my utmost sympathy. Let us give her all the moral support that we can.

So much pain in our lives. My prayers for you help me feel better. Not so sure they help anyone else. My prayers for you seem to be all I can do. I want to do so much more to relieve your pain and all the suffering that you and other people endure. I wish I could do more. Peace to you and all you hold dear. In your hearts, in your lives.

What positive thoughts a frog can give...you got 'em. At least I know for a fact that my good vibes don't have to travel that far. ;-)

Kvatch, I can feel them all the way from the City and County of San Francisco to the San Joaquin valley.
Thanks to all of you.
Worried American has her hands full now too and I know she appreciates your love and concern.
