BUSH'S BUZZ WORDS: 9/11, TERROR, FREEDOM, MAKING GOOD PROGRESS...

OUR PRESIDENT ASSURES US....
KATRINA AT LANDFALL 2005; HOW MANY IN 2006, AND HOW POWERFUL WILL THEY BE? HOW PREPARED IS FEMA AND THE GOVERNMENT TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE CITIZENS IF WE HAVE MORE KATRINAS AND RITAS OR ANDREWS? THOSE OF US ALONG THE GULF COAST AND EASTERN SEABOARD WAIT WITH A DEGREE OF CYNICISM AND HOPE OUR INDIVIDUAL STATES ARE BETTER PREPARED.

Unfortunately...many and powerful! Warm up that mid-Atlantic water a couple 'o degrees and what do you get? A year-round Hurricane season. Can anyone say "Zeta"? Which attained hurricane strength on the 4th of January.

Dear worried and granny. Saw you guys' comments over at Donkeyphant. You have an interesting site and when time allows this weekend, I'll return to browse further. I am in Austin and even though I am not native Texan(check my site for 'pedigree' woof, ha), I do get a little tug in my heart when I see another Texan online. It gives me hope, living in a big sea of republicanism that there are people that regardless of their political 'stripes', see the state of this union to be out of sync of its original intent. There are more Texans wanting to rid this country of the despots..
Hope ya'll in Houston will get spared the big hurricanes..you don't want to go through that exodus like last years' fiasco..
if you do..I'll put a pot of coffee on and invite you over!
    Ingrid

Might take you up on that, Ingrid. Marty on the Homefront is another Houstonian blogger.

Really like your blog. I use some of the same publications you do. I have a post ready for tomorrow borrowing one of your links. Properly credited, ofcourse.
