Yes, I know that slogan is so yesterday.
Richard Roeper's Chicago Sun-Times column today criticizes the Army for omitting one pertinent bit of information from the slickly produced ads.
They fail to mention we are sending these kids off to a sinkhole.

But they do allow some publishing of the wonderful prosthetics given to troops who have had limbs blown off, and give glowing reports of how well they adjust.
I am thankful that such technologically advanced prosthetics are available to them. But I would much rather these young people had the limbs they were born with, not sacrificed for greed and empire.
