WE HAVE A RIGHT AND A DUTY...
Roosevelt said, "When our government is being subverted , and our Constitution is being undermined by those who sit in the seat of government and power, it is the right of citizens and the responsibility of citizens to raise their voices against this collapse and should speak out against it, and in fact, charge the government, and those who do not do that should be charged with patriotic treason."
In this unrelenting, ongoing war to save our nation, our rights, and our Constitution, are your trigger fingers getting sore from firing off emails to our Congressmen and Senators? The Bush administration and its backers do not relent and neither should the citizens. We stand against powerful forces and must stand united in purpose. Remember:
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public... ."
Teddy Roosevelt; Kansas City Star, May 7, 1918.
Because we do not fight with musket and cannon does not mean that our fight for liberty is any less than that of our forefathers who stood at Lexington. Granny fights with emails, blogs, letters and peaceful demonstrations with posters and candles on street corners. I fight with emails, blogs, letters and verbal rhetoric. Each citizen must follow his own conscience and fight as he sees fit...but fight.

Rolling over: bad.
Fighting for what you believe in: good.
I haven't been fighting, bar signing the odd petition, but that is slowly changing. I cannot let the things happening lie.
I may go down, but I will go down fighting my corner, and that of others like me...
