Religion and Politics? Yes, according to the GOP
They've asked churches (or their members) to mail the party their church directories. At least one Southern Baptist (not a member of the WCC) is up in arms and others will probably follow.
The World Council of Churches has protested vehemently. Of course, most fundamentalists despise the WCC so the GOP may not care. Bush's denomination (same as mine)is a member - interesting.
From KOS yesterday.

Bush may be a member of a certain church, but he is hand in glove with the CC, RR, and the CR.

The fact that he belongs to an X denomination and PROFESSES to adhere to that particular Christian faith should not reflect unfavorably upon that Christian sect. Only very ignorant people would affix blame to an entire faith simply because one bad apple professes to that faith. Such ignorance (or stupidity) should be ignored. Don't let the fools get you down, Granny.
