Nirvana
I wish I was here. Erect my camping canopy over the picnic table. Light some briquettes in the fire pit and throw a handfull of cedar chips on them. Set up the chaise lounge and kick back. Forget politics, wars, and all the greedy, money grubbing, power hungry slime balls in the world.One of my Bucket wishes. Nirvana.

yeah- well, i am getting stuck with the whole basic human respect for everyone bit. i have a feeling it's going to be several lifetimes before i hit nirvana :) trying to understand and have any compassion for people like cheney, palin, rove, etc. or even pelosi- well, let's just say it hasn't happened yet. but i do agree- that's a nice little slice of heaven to pitch a tent and enjoy. :)

You and me both, girl. To kick back and forget the world and all the bullshit would be a welcome relief. Our illustrious leader is expected to call a snap general election for us this weekend. Oh, crap.

I hear you, Betmo! I darn well know there will be no Nirvana in my lifetime (what few years are left). The only hope is brief snatches of escapism - like vegging out in a lovely slice of nature as in the pic.
fjb: Great to hear from you again. I agree with you, too! I wish I could just split! Sounds as if you are as enamored of your "illustrious leader" as we are with ours.
