Now that Palin's 15 minutes of fame is over, will she slink back into the obscurity of the wilds of Alaska or will she try to cling to the spotlight, unwilling to to abandon center stage? Choosing her as a running mate was probably one of McCain's greatest errors of his entire campaign.
Hopefully, the Alaskans are as fed up with Palin as the majority of the other states are and will vote her out of office as quickly as possible.

Obama became our first black president. It would not surprise me if Palin has ambitions of being our first woman president. A campaign battle between her and Hilary would be.....(supply the descriptive)!!
This election and the massive turnout of voters should be a wakeup call to the Repubs. Plus they are fed up with BushCo policies and the ruination of our country.

ReplyDeletePalin was chosen by McCain because he needed Bush's base of Fundamentalists or he was dead in the water. There was only one small problem. The Fundamentalists hated (and still do) McCain. Palin is a picture perfect Fundamentalist. Dumber than a frozen rock, but spouts the Holy bullshit until you gag.
ReplyDeletePalin started arguing publically with McCain the second she got on board because the campaign wasn't conservative enough. That was codespeak for not enough Jesus Freaks, etc.
She will be back in Presidential politics, because the Fundamentalists love her (after all, she didn't shush the people that shout "kill him" when she spoke of Obama at one of her rallies). She will run, or be some Jesus Freak like Bush perfect VP running mate.
That will bring the Fundamentalists out of their caves screaming once again, and that in turn will energize the rest of the Republicans. Sarah Palin will be the catalyst that makes the whole pot boil. We will see an assualt by religious terrorists on the white house the likes of which we've never seen anywhere.
A race between Hilary and Palin would be a contest between two plugged up toilets to see who could overflow first!!
