As one of Dan'l's commenters said, what about cooch rings? Or foreskin rings? Or belly button rings or eyebrow rings or tongue rings or lip rings or nostril rings .....?? Or EAR RINGS? Where does the stupidity end?
Is there an Einstein or Hawking that can explain to me HOW these items of jewelry threaten national security? This country is going to hell a-tumbling!

oooh- she hired gloria allred- they are so fucked now! :) folks should realize that homeland security isn't about keeping us safer- it's about keeping us in our place. it was created in order to create a police state. all good dictatorships have a 'homeland security' department.

My first thought, when I saw that story, was "what about foreskin rings?" I bin cirsubscribed, but just the thought made me cross my legs!

Betmo is right; the Gestapo/KGB is on its way for us and Bush's Brownshirts are practising. Obviously, common sense was immaterial to the exercise of raw power and control. Adhering to their own rules wasn't a consideration either. Refusing to obey probably would have resulted in arrest, jail time and possibly forcible removal of the ring by others. Who knows where the stupidity would end? More humiliation and abuse?

Now looky here, this is not good news, all this ring stuff. My partner made me get a ring through my nose, one that is thick enough to hold a bull. She leads me about with it when we go to town to make sure I don't stray...there sure are some good lookin' heifers...
Does this mean I can't visit America, that I'm unwelcome?
I tried to mention about the foreskin ring but she said she didn't want to talk about inconsequential issues.
